Electrical installation
for alterations and refurbishment to a diagnostic
and treatment centre including new and existing
day theatres, recovery and treatment areas and
associated nursing facilities.
This
was a complex project to undertake as the hospital
needed to be kept fully occupied and operational
throughout the duration of the work. Works were
phased to maintain existing systems, whilst
the existing installation was surveyed, isolated,
supplied from alternative locations, removed,
reinstated and then brought on line.
Installation
works included general and emergency lighting
and power, an isolated power supply system for
theatres, a fire alarm system, CCTV, access
control , voice and data containment and a nurse
call system.
