When JP Morgan Chase Bank commissioned the construction of a new 60,000 sq ft Data Centre within an existing warehouse building Unidata were selected to Supply & Install the complete Electrical Services.

From the new HV supply Unidata provided two packaged substations and a complete diversely routed 415v distribution network , providing maximum resilience and redundancy , from main LV switchgear to Power Distribution Units which serve the Data Hall equipment .

The Standby Power system provided by 3 No. 1000kVA Diesel Generators and 2 No. 500kVA Rotary UPS Units distributed by Automatic Transfer Devices .

Full Electrical Services , mechanical plant power via MCC’s , internal & external lighting , data cable containment , fire alarm , security & access control , leak detection & earthing networks .

Unidata also undertook the IT cable installation within the data hall on behalf of the bank.

The continued demands of JP Morgan Chase Bank dictated an upgrade of the infrastructure to the site and Unidata offered a Turnkey solution.

Two new MV supplies were routed to the building to provide an additional LV network , backed by 1300kVA of UPS system , to 14 number new Power Distribution Units – via static switches for resilience of supply , supplying an additional 1,100 cabinet power supplies within the existing Data Centre.

Unidata provided the complete package to facilitate this installation including the mechanical services upgrade and the construction works as required.
