Refurbishment of the entire electrical installation
to the 1930’s landmark building located
on the Strand, overlooking the Embankment .
The
building was decommissioned and the entire services
replaced. Shell & Core installation included
11kV Transformer and MV/LV switchgear, distribution
of power to all floors via a rising main bus-bar
system to 108 distribution units, all with standby
power provided by the refurbished existing 6
building generators. Landlord areas were all
refurbished and architectural lighting provided
to the distinctive courtyard, façade
and clock face. A complete new house fire alarm
was provided which included over 2,600 devices.
Category
B installation was completed on many floors
for the publishing house Pearson Ltd. This included
all lighting and power for their office requirements
including the high specification meeting areas
and executives offices and new restaurant and
kitchen facilities.
Category
B installation was completed for Vizzavi Ltd,
who required high density underfloor power distribution,
backed by their own standby power generator
and UPS system with a communications room facility
and high specification audio visual system for
the meeting areas.
